All the best Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba and her administration for SONA 2025

Mpho Dube

The Azanian management led by its Editor in Chief, Mpho Maza Dube MoAfrika Dube is wishing the Limpopo first female Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba well in her State of the Province Address (SOPA) 2025 to be held today on Thursday at Limpopo Legislature in Lebowakgomo. Dr Ramathuba has embarked on ensuring that the lives of the communities are enhanced and whole.

In responding to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s 7th administration of Government of National Unity (GNU) in Cape Town on Wednesday, the Premier of Limpopo, Dr Ramathuba applauded the real Commander in Chief of South Africa for ensuring that Limpopo is leading the country’s renewable energy revolution.

Limpopo is poised to be at the heart of South Africa’s global engagement. “Hosting key G20 meetings - on agriculture, financial architecture, the digital economy, and health - this positions our province as a driver of sustainable development. Our Marula belt in Mopani, alongside the 70% of Kruger National Park within Limpopo, will showcase our natural beauty and rich heritage to the world,” said Limpopo Premier. Under her leadership piloted by Limpopo Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure MEC Tonny Rachoene continued his mission to accelerate service delivery to the people following his monitoring programme aimed at enhancing their lives without trepidation against all odds. Rachoene introduced the following initiatives:#DiloDiChenchitje, #MiningIndaba25,#DikgerekgereWednesdays,#StakeholdersTuesdays,#LetsGrowLimpopoTogether, #LeaveNoOneBehind and #7thAdministration .

INFRASTRUCTURE & ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION

"Reducing the cost of living in rural areas is key to unlocking economic growth. Your R940 billion infrastructure investment plan is a game-changer. For too long, apartheid spatial planning left rural communities disconnected from economic opportunities. This investment will reshape our province - connecting people to jobs, markets, and essential services.

Public-private partnerships are proving effective. The near-completion of the Steelpoort Bridge, built in collaboration with the mining sector, is a testament to what we can achieve when government and business work together,"said Limpopo Premier.

EDUCATION

"Limpopo is no longer at the tail end of Matric results. We have moved from being permanent residents of last place to 6th nationally, achieving an 85.01% pass rate. Our goal is clear - we are aiming even higher in 2025," added Limpopo Premier.

STRENGTHENING HEALTHCARE & EDUCATION

"Healthcare is a pillar of our development agenda. The long-overdue revitalisation of Siloam Hospital is finally happening, and the Limpopo Central Hospital, currently under construction, will redefine healthcare in our province," Premier confirmed.

GOOD LUCK. KEEP ON SHINING DAUGHTER OF THE REVOLUTIONARY SOIL. SALUTE.
