ANC rejects Zuma's pompousness

MK Party leader Jacob Zuma dismissed from the ANC.


Former president Jacob Zuma’s pompousness has been met with rejection by the ANC’s national disciplinary committee (NDC) found him guilty of two charges of misconduct.

The egocentric Zuma has been expelled from the ANC after forming his new political toy the uMkhonto weSizwe Party which contested 2024 provincial and national elections which become the third largest political organisation in the country.

Zuma was charged for publicly announcing that on December 16, 2023, that he will not be campaigning nor voting for the ANC because he is discontent by what he calls “President Ramaphosa’s ANC” therefore he will not support the ANC during the recent provincial and national elections.

The controversial narcissistic self-centred, Zuma was charged for contravening rule 25.17 of the ANC constitution. ANC NDC members Robinson Ramaite, Vusi Pikoli, Faith Muthambi,  Nocawe Mafu and Kerensa Millard all concurred on Zuma’s expulsion.

“The charged member is found guilty of contravening Rule 25.17.17.4 of the ANC constitution, read with subsection (2), for prejudicing the integrity or repute of the organisation by acting in collaboration with a registered political party, to wit the MK Party, which is not in alliance with the ANC, in a manner contrary to the aims, policies and objectives of the ANC. The charged member is expelled from the ANC. The charged member has the right to appeal to the National Disciplinary Committee of Appeal within 21 days,” the NDC said when handing down its verdict.
