The ANC Youth League president Collen Malatji has taken a swipe at former president Jacob Zuma blaming him for weakening the ANC during his 10 years tenure.
Zuma was fingered for being ANC factory fault, political delinquent, self-centred, narcissist and backstabber.
Malatji said this when addressing the ANC Youth League, Peter Mokaba Volunteers Rally recently at the Alexandra Stadium in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg geared to zoom into the challenges facing the youth in the country as well as part of the ANC election campaign ahead of the much-anticipated general elections in the country.
According to the youth league leader President Cyril Ramaphosa inherited a weak ANC with voters decline from Zuma of Umkhondo WeSizwe (MK) Party prominence.
Zuma’s relationship with the Gupta’s and his Nkandlagate scandal affected the ruling party’s performance when he was president during 2009 to 2018.
When lambasting Zuma, the ANCYL president said: “The first mistake we made, we gave a Grade 2 dropout a country to lead for 10 years.”
Malatji also accused Zuma of using MK as his new political toy that he wants to use for his personal gains knowing very well that MK brand belongs to the ANC and its history.
“He took our MK now and turned it into a fake one. He goes around recruiting criminals using our legacy to destroy the movement,” said the ANCYL leader.
