Bafana Bafana walloped their neighbours Namibia 4-0

Players of South African national soccer team Bafana Bafana redeemed themselves after thrashing Namibia 4-0 registering their first win of the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Korhogo, town, north central Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast).

Both teams are guaranteed a place in the last 16 if they win their deciding matches for the knockout stage on Wednesday, when South Africa face Tunisia and Namibia meet Mali.

Bafana Bafana lost their opening game against Mali which punished them 2-0 in Group E.

SA’s number 10 Percy Tau who missed a penalty and a lot of chances rejuvenated himself by scoring an early penalty. He was followed by man of the match Themba Zwane who scored a brace during the first half.  Hugo Broos' troops kept their momentum in the second half when Thapelo Maseko scored the second goal.

Bafana Bafana redeemed themselves.
