Bolsheviks Party national secretary Seun Mogotji has lambasted Limpopo premier Stan Mathabatha without trepidation.
Mogotji said the outgoing premier and ANC provincial chairperson who addressed a Human Rights Day rally in Fetakgomo Tubatse on Thursday must cease to exist because he is the “chief protagonist of human rights abuse” in Limpopo.
He said Mathabatha’s two terms in office have “brought nothing but hardship for our people, talk about 10 wasted years”.
Mogotji said when the people wanted access to houses with dignity during covid-19 he gave the people of Talane those overpriced shacks.
“According to him they deserve shacks that cost an arm and a leg instead of a proper house, he denied them rights to have proper houses. Many parts of Limpopo are still sharing dirty contaminated water with domestic livestock, their right to access clean drinking water has been denied. And despite being the principal he says it's not his responsibility to provide water, but he has an oversight role to play,he is the political head of the province and if the departments which he oversees are not performing, he is well within his job description to demand answers but not Chupu Mathabatha,he chooses to shift the blame and throw his colleagues under the bus,” said Mogotji.
“I find it extremely disturbing that some Limpopo schools are still using pit toilets, what happened to the right to adequate sanitation? The same man who is in charge during all these human rights abuses gave a speech on human rights, that’s very sad. Mathabatha is a political factory fault whose administration failed drastically to emancipate the Limpopo community from all forms of depression because he is not a consummate leader but disastrous. He also failed to reprimand his cronies who looted VBS mutual bank and subjected the elders and the poor to gross violation of their rights. He protected his allies who milked the VBS purse because he is selfish. We are saying the fact that his tenure as a premier is over is good riddance. He is the worst premier in Limpopo. What a loser.”
