LIMPOPO ANCYL DONATES 10 LAPTOPS TO PUPILS

ANCYL provincial chairperson Tonny Rachoene with Segopje Senior Secondary School pupils.

The ANCYL in Limpopo under the leadership of its provincial chairperson Tonny Rachoene has practised what it sermonises.

Rachoene and his troops proved indeed that the battlefield is their dance floor by donating 10 laptops to Segopje Senior Secondary school during their “Hashtag Half Klipa” back to school campaign.

Speaking to The Azanian, Rachoene said: “Today we have delivered, we only have 1 outstanding commitment to deliver to this school. We did identify a learner living with disability in this school and in 2 weeks, we will be back again here to deliver.”

Earlier, Rachoene donated a table tennis court to Lefa Maseko, a young person living with disability who is also a table tennis champion in Limpopo.

Rachoene told The Azanian that as part of the ANCYL disability Thursday’s program, they visited Motjedi Secondary School and donated the table tennis sport tools to the talented Maseko to motivate other players within the community.

While visiting Motjedi Secondary School in Motetema/ Tafelkop of Maseko, the ANCYL provincial chairperson also donated 10 Boxes of sanitary pads to pad up a girl child. Restoring the dignity of a black child is very paramount.

“Our mandate is to ensure that we boost young people to the best of our abilities. Our program of disability is to make sure that young people don’t lose hope because they are disabled. Being disabled doesn’t mean you can’t achieve your dreams or participate in sport or any activity. It is potent and imperative to understand that with God all things are possible for greater is He who lives in us against all odds. Therefore, you must never give up,” said Rachoene.
