Limpopo ANCYL Provincial Chairperson Faith Seopela and Provincial Secretary Phineas "Boko" Sebola leads the Limpopo ANCYL to always be ready defend the ANC integrity against forms of unorthodox trends.
The ANCYL in Limpopo prayers which condemned controversial ANC former Member of Parliament Boy Mamabolo over his conduct of insulting party members on social media have been responded to positively by the ANC Provincial Working Committee (PWC) without trepidation.
ANCYL Provincial Secretary Phineas “Boko” Sebola has welcomed that PWC has heeded to their call by putting Mamabolo on temporary suspension after the ruling party in Limpopo invoked rule 25.9 of the ANC Constitution and institute disciplinary measures to safeguard the integrity of the organisation and prevent further harm to its reputation.
Sebola earlier said the ANCYL has noted unfortunate utterances by Mamabolo who continues to insult and attack the late former Provincial Chairperson of the ANCYL Limpopo Cde Mathews Malebana on his social media accounts.
“The ANCYL Limpopo refuses to remain silent when its former provincial chairperson is under attack even on his way to the grave,” warned Sebola.
The ANCYL also expressed its disgust that Mamabolo for also insulting Onnica Kwakwa, who served in different provincial structures of the ANCYL Limpopo and current member of the ANCWL NEC.
“Cde Boy further embarrassingly insulted Cde Onnica Kwakwa, who served in different provincial structures of the ANCYL Limpopo and current member of the ANCWL NEC, uttering explicit vulgar words that stand against the ANC's non-sexists' principles. Mamabolo's utterances are not only unethical and un-African, but they are a violation of the ANC's Rule 25 from the ANC's constitution. We therefore call on the ANC to take urgent decisive actions against Cde Mamabolo," said Sebola.
The ANCYL Limpopo engaged the ANC to immediately take disciplinary actions against Mamabolo.
“The ANCYL further calls on the ANCWL to break its silence on such attacks against their NEC member, Kwaka. It's characters like Boy Mamabolo that make women feel less of themselves and failure to deal with this now, more and more young women will continue to live in fear of men like Boy Mamabolo. It's against our view that this matter would be left unattended. The ANCYL Limpopo calls on all men and women to stand firm against such unethical behaviour. May the Soul of Cde Mathews Nyaku Malebana continue to rest in eternal peace,” said Sebola.
ANC provincial spokesperson Jimmy Machaka said ANC PWC views Mamabolo’s conduct as bringing the ANC into disrepute.
He confirmed that the ANC has invoked rule 25.9 of the ANC Constitution and instituted disciplinary measures to safeguard the integrity of the organisation and prevent further harm to its reputation.
The ANC PWC meeting on April 1st, 2025, resolved to place Mamabolo on temporary suspension pending the outcome of the disciplinary proceedings.

Limpopo ANCYL always ready to defend the ANC integrity against forms of unorthodox trends.
