Mamelodi Sundowns Unbeaten Record Continues

Mamelodi Sundowns cemented their unbeaten record run of 42 matches after drawing 1-1 against their rival SuperSport United during the Pretoria derby this week.

This follows goals by Bafana Bafana star Tebogo Mokoena and lethal striker Bradley Grobler who equalised at Loftus Stadium.

Sundowns manager Rhulani Mokoena admitted that SupersSport was a difficult opponent which played very well. “It was a difficult match for us,” said Mokoena.

Earlier, Mokoena’s team opened a 12-point lead at the top of the Dstv Premiership standings after defeating Chippa United 2-0.

Mokoena opened the scoring with a thunderous goal and the new kid on the block for the Brazilians, Tashreeq Matthews sealed victory for the DSTV PSL champions in the 85th minute.
