
The MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure MEC Tonny Rachoene ready to lead ANC Peter Mokaba Region as Deputy Regional Chairperson.
Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure MEC Tonny Rachoene and former ANCYL Provincial Chairperson who served it with aristocracy and integrity has been touted as the Deputy Regional Chairperson of ANC Peter Mokaba Region by his loyal supporters who believes in his consummate leadership bravura.
Rachoene is also enjoying support from the current newly elected ANCYL in the province which has called for him to be co-opted in the provincial executive committee (PEC) of the ANC in Limpopo.
The ANCYL in Limpopo led by Provincial Chairperson Faith Seopela and Provincial Secretary Phineas “Boko” Sebola applauded Rachoene for his sterling flawless leadership during his tenure.
Sebola said hard working MEC Rachoene managed to defuse political bishops who wanted to cause serious harm to the ANC and ANCYL in Limpopo by refusing them access to cause calamity in the province.
Rachoene has teamed up with ANC Women's League Provincial Chairperson and Capricorn Region Executive Mayor Mamedupi Teffo who will be contesting senior politician John Mpe, former ANC Peter Mokaba Regional Chairperson and currently its Convenor and Polokwane Mayor for the position of Peter Mokaba Regional Chairperson ahead of the much-anticipated regional elective conference.

Rachoene also enjoys support from Limpopo first female Premier Phophi Ramathuba who have him a mandate to prioritize roads that are worthy and create jobs in Limpopo and accelerating service delivery through his various initiates such as; particularly on Infrastructural development such as; #7thAdministration , #DiloDiChenchitje , #MiningIndaba25 , #DikgerekgereWednesdays , #StakeholdersTuesdays , #LetsGrowLimpopoTogether and
MEC Rachoene created 174 permanent jobs, mostly young people, over 300 jobs to be created by the end of March 2025.
He also enjoys support from the Congress of Traditional Leaders of South Africa (Contralesa) following his # Magoshi Friday” initiative during his tenure as ANCYL provincial leader which contributed to traditional leaders in the province such as Provincial Chairperson of Contralesa Kgoshigadi Nkweng Seopela who vowed to support the ANC during the previous election which Limpopo got over 70%.
Kgoshigadi Nkweng Seopela and Contralesa President Mathupa Mokoena gave salutation to Rachoene’s leadership with his ANCYL comrades following their mission entitled “# Magoshi Friday”, of visiting various traditional leaders in all regions across Limpopo.
Contralesa President Mathupa Mokoena recognised and applauded Rachoene and the then ANCYL in Limpopo for creating a good relationship with traditional leaders in Limpopo.
Meanwhile, Rachoene also enjoys support from Sefako-Makgato , Molemole and Blouberg regions.
