Patricia de Lille’s Good Party suspends former Springbok coach Peter De Villiers for sexual misconduct allegations

Former Springboks head coach Peter De Villiers has been suspended from all Good Party activities following allegations of sexual misconduct from another party member.

The Good Party led by Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille took a decision to suspend De Villiers after receiving a complaint from the victim.

De Lille’s party will implement disciplinary measures to establish if the former Springboks coach is in breach of its constitution.

The party says its constitution is unambiguous on gender relations and gender-based violence.

In 2021 De Villiers joined Good Party as a mayoral candidate in the Drakenstein Local Municipality.

Good Party is a South African political organisation formed in December 2018 founded by De Lille. Their motto is to stand up for a country that has zero tolerance for racism, gender discrimination, corruption and poverty.
