Political Delinquent Zuma claims to be ANC victim

MK Party leader Jacob Zuma.

Former president Jacob Zuma’s attempt to demand immediate reversal of his expulsion from the ANC is seen as an attempt to destruct the ANC from celebrating its 113th birthday, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday in Cape Town.

The political delinquent Zuma was expelled from the ANC in June, for breaching its constitution by campaigning for a rival party in the national elections, in which the ANC suffered its worst electoral defeat with 40.2% of the vote.

The man who hates President Cyril Ramaphosa with a passion was suspended by the ANC  in January 2024 for actively impugning the integrity of the party by campaigning to remove  it from power. The decision to suspend him was made unanimously by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC).

He was suspended after facing two charges relating to the MK Party, which he founded and named after the ANC’s military wing. He announced its launch five months before the 29 May 2024 general elections.

“Michievous, uncouth, ridiculous oldman,” ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula lambasts Zuma.

“We are not going to respond because it [letter] seeks to divert us from the 113th-year celebration. He had an opportunity to send his love letter many days ago and he didn't. That is how he works, that's how he operates. He is a mischievous, uncouth, ridiculous old man who thrives on disunity for his self-interest.”

In the letter, Zuma warned the ANC that should the party not show interest in hearing his plea to be reinstated he would have no other option but to take the matter to the courts.

“This matter extends beyond individual grievances, reflecting deeper concerns about the ANC's current trajectory. There is a growing perception that the organisation is being led by individuals whose actions resemble Askaris, undermining the movement's historic mission.”
