Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure MEC Tonny Rachoene has embarked on his mission to accelerate service delivery to the communities.


Rachoene who recently launched #StakeholdersTuesdays programme geared to engage with all various stakeholders across Limpopo province has vowed to leave no stone unturned to ensure that the lives of the communities have been enhanced.


Following, his mission of ensuring that District Development Model is effective and palpable as well as giving birth to sanity, MEC Rachoene this week interacted with the Vhembe District Municipality and Mayors of the four local municipalities to discuss service delivery inroads that his administration is making, plans and challenges that Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure department is faced with in its efforts to render services. 

 

He also committed to the stakeholders that the department will be able to construct low lying bridges, erect culverts and dispatch the work of #DikgerekgereWednesdays to ensure that Limpopo roads are safe, conducive, comfortable and drivable. 

 

Rachoene said: “My colleagues who are leaders from the Local Government Sphere have appreciated our improved communication through the #Stakeholdersuesdays and the Dikgerekgere service delivery programme. Later in the day, I together with senior management of RAL and the Department will meet with three community stakeholders.”
