The Azanian congratulates Bafana Bafana for winning Bronze

The Azanian management believes that Bafana Bafana has a potential of qualifying for the World Cup following their outstanding performance.

This is after securing third-place position in the African Cup of Nations, emerging victorious with a 6-5 penalty shootout win against DR Congo.

Captain Ronwen Williams, the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, displayed exceptional leadership by saving two penalties, making a crucial contribution to the game.

Throughout the match, both teams created numerous opportunities to score goals, resulting in a 0-0 draw and ultimately leading to a penalty shootout. Despite the absence of goals, the intensity of the game remained high.

Hugo Broos, the South African coach, commended his players for their outstanding performance, emphasizing their strong mentality. He expressed his pride in the team.

"After the Nigerian match, I mentioned my pride in this team, and today, people can witness why. Despite fatigue, the group's mentality is truly impressive. The boys performed exceptionally well,” Broos said.
