The ANCYL in Limpopo led by its first female Provincial Chairperson Faith Seopela and Provincial Secretary Phineas “Boko” Sebola has vowed to leave no stone unturned when tackling all unorthodox issues affecting young people such as education, employment and youth empowerment.
Sebola made it clear during their recent provincial conference that the ANCYL in Limpopo will not be remote controlled by the so called “bishops” who have an ambition of pushing their own selfish interests in the name of amandla.
They have applauded their former Provincial Chairperson and Limpopo Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure MEC Tonny Rachoene for his sterling consummate leadership during his tenure.
Sebola said hard working MEC Rachoene managed to defuse political bishops who wanted to cause serious harm to the ANC and ANCYL in Limpopo by refusing them access to cause calamity in the province.
The new ANCYL structure in Limpopo called for Rachoene to be co-opted as a member of the ANC Provincial Executive (PEC) in Limpopo to close the vacancy of ANC National Executive Committee (NEC) member Soviet Lekganyane without trepidation.
They also supported the current ANCYL President Collen Malatji to retain his position and serve a second term because he continues to fight for the youth against all odds.
The youth also called for Limpopo first female Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba to appoint more five young MECs in her provincial cabinet and get rid of deadwoods who are lazy but only effective when they do PR, makeup, take pictures (selfies), and post them in various social media.
